MALIBU MIXOLOGY

The Club’s Holiday Party is always a great time; however, this year it was taken to a new level. John McCampbell’s band provided excellent entertainment, and Buzz Cadenhead created and mixed some delicious cocktails. Per request, we’ve posted the recipes below:

Balls Out! 

1.5 ounces whiskey (or scotch) /  .5 ounce ginger syrup / .5 ounce honey / 1 ounce lemon

Combine all ingredients with ice. Shake, pour and enjoy.

Backhand Slice 

1.5 ounces vodka / 1 ounce lime / .5 ounce rosemary syrup / 2 ounces soda

Combine vodka, lime, rosemary and ice. Shake and pour. Then add soda and sip.

Vamos! 

1.5 ounces reposado tequila / .5 ounce cinnamon syrup / 1 ounce lemon

Combine all ingredients with ice. Shake pour and enjoy.

0 & 0 

1.5 ounces vodka / .5 ounce lemon / 1 ounce cranberry juice / .5 sage syrup

Combine all ingredients with ice. Shake, pour and sip.

Infused Syrups: 

Each syrup was made the day before by infusing simple syrup recipes and then straining the syrup before cooling.

NEW HITTER POLICY BEGINS 10/8

In appreciation of your busy weekend schedules, we are adjusting the sign-up procedure for the weekend hitter.

Sign-ups for the afternoon hitter will begin at noon. The sign-up sheet will now be kept behind the desk, as players can now call to sign-up for a desired time slot – again, beginning at noon.  (In-person sign-ups will still be accepted) Sign-ups do not have to be “in order”, i.e. someone calling in at noon can sign up for a 3:30pm time slot.

We do ask that all players arrive 10-15 minutes before their scheduled time.

An “in-person” waiting list will also be in effect.
